“3D Printed Radio Yachts is offering this special pricing until August 15th, 2017. And We Guarantee To Post Within 30 Days”

3D Printed Radio Yachts is offering this special pricing until August 15th, 2017

And… we will post within 30 days of receiving the order.

Why the low price? As you will be a trailblazer in this emerging technology, we would like to acknowledge your foresight in what we are doing here at “3D Printed Radio Yachts”.

Like the internet, this new method of construction will take some time to become mainstream, so those in at the early stages will gain all the benefits now and be “well ahead of the crowd”, so to speak.

We are very keen to promote this emerging and rather “mystical” process to all who will listen in the Radio Control Yachting community.

1. The “Self Build Kits”

Kit A: Dragon Force conversion to a 3D Lightweight Flyer

You build AU $285

If we build for you, add AU $300

  • Our calculations show there is a 200g plus saving just by swapping the hulls over and you can still use the same keel, bulb and rudder from your Dragon Force. Less weight means faster boats especially with the mass down at the bulb remaining the same, where it is doing the most good.

Kit B: Full 3D Lightweight Flyer: Hull, Keel, Bulb, Rudder.

You build AU $485

If we build for you, add AU $400

  • The optimum mass of the complete yacht ready to race is around 1000g. It can be less or more depending on how you option it all up as you build. All items from hull to bulb have resulted from our very extensive 3D printing research. Strong, resilient, rigid and lightweight. With an efficient hull and focus on placing the mass as low as possible, physics calculations will tell you it has to be a superior performer.

 2. The Delivery

  • We will post your new 3D Lightweight Flyer within 30 days of placing the order.
  • Add postage and packaging on top (quoted at cost price)
  • In Australia, price includes GST
  • Add 14 days if we are building it for you.

3. Building Your Own “3D Lightweight Flyer”

Self Building

We partly prepare the essential parts of the hull for you to finish at your leisure. A complete “Self Build Manual” is supplied with all 3D Lightweight Flyers to make sure you know every possible step needed to get your flyer in the water and racing. No need to be a master craftsman, just basic tools needed and the parts are modular, designed to slip in neatly.

If We Build For You

We encourage you to take up the challenge and put together your own 3d Lightweight Flyer, but if you prefer not to, then we have a resident master craftsman to construct it for you. You may need to add a couple more weeks for delivery.

4. “No Questions Asked 90 Day Guarantee

“If within the first 90 days you are not completely happy with your new 3D Lightweight Flyer Dragon Force Conversion Kit, just send it all back and we will cheerfully refund your purchase in full (less postage)”

How much fairer can that be? In fact we take the risk of purchasing not you. We are very confident you will love your new yacht.

And spare parts are always available at very reasonable prices, just in case something happens during the building.

 5. The Colours

Image 3: The available colours include all these plus dusty blue and polar white.

6. The Emerging 3D Technology

For those who know very little about this emerging 3d printing technology it would be worth a read of the abundance of information available on this site. Our overall philosophy is to expose the enormous potential of this building system to the Radio Control Yacht Community.

The team at 3D Printed Radio Yachts has spent a lot of time and effort to develop this technology to the point where it is now at least as good as the traditional build techniques (carbon, glass, wood) in terms of mass and racing resilience.

But more importantly, 3d printing technology has now been shown to be far in advance in terms of the speed of building and design areas. The team has now completed over 400 research experiments to determine the current best method for producing RC hull shells and fittings.

After a long line of prototypes, we now present to you the “3D Lightweight Flyer”. It has been an outstanding performer from the beginning and clearly displays the enormous potential of 3D printing technology especially in terms of the design/build/test cycle.

You could have this lovely machine in your hands inside a month from ordering.

 7. How To Order Your “3D Lightweight Flyer”

At the moment we use a very basic ordering system. Ordering is as easy as A, B, C.

  1. Select a Kit

Kit A: Order this kit if you want to convert your current Dragon Force to a 3D Lightweight Flyer using your own DF keel, bulb, rig and rudder. Simply connect it all together and go sailing with a much lighter and what we have found is a far more competitive RG65. Minimum fuss, minimum cost to get you up there with those quick boats on the ponds.

Kit B: If you want a complete lightweight and very competitive hull, keel, bulb, rudder from our 3D technology. Simply build this Kit B “3D Lightweight Flyer” and then transfer your Dragon Force rig and sails over or design a new set for yourself. You can start with Kit A and move up to Kit B later by simply purchasing the Kit B keel, bulb and rudder. All part of an interchangeable modular system: “plug in and go racing”

2. Select a colour.
